How to earn it

1. Open a SoFi Checking and Savings account (new and existing members who have never set up direct deposit with SoFi are eligible)
2. Set up your first eligible direct deposit of $1 or more; SoFi must receive it on or before December 31, 2026
3. SoFi totals all eligible direct deposits received within 25 calendar days of the first eligible direct deposit: $1,000-$4,999.99 earns a $50 bonus, $5,000 or more earns a $400 bonus
4. Eligible direct deposits are deposits from an employer, payroll, or benefits provider via ACH (check deposits, P2P transfers such as Venmo/PayPal, and merchant transactions do not qualify)
5. Bonus is credited within 7 business days of meeting requirements
